Wordfast pro reddit piracy7/28/2023 ![]() ![]() The Reddit guide helped users pirate Adobe CC. ![]() Now, Adobe filed a copyright claim on a two-year-old guide that was available on Reddit. Naturally, this attracts the attention of copyright holders and legal authorities. Okay Boomer, I don't know what you think you are lmao, but your historial is a shitshow.Guides for just about anything are available on the Internet but some of them delve into grey areas like piracy. You MUST master and gain a deep technical understanding of your tools, or they will master you. Just wanted to look what our "professional translater of highest level" had to say and found this, you clearly are just full of bullshit. Give up now and go back to whatever else it is that you do, and leave the translation to the professionals. You may want photos then? Sad that I already fixed the document manually. If you doubt it, look for Job Ads and search the words "Lead company", every business uses those words like, why not? people do the same. Every time someone refers to himself as "highest level" is bullshit. No one that works "at the highest levels" refers to himself like that. I'm a professional translator working at the highest levels So I had to copy-paste the segments manually. docx has a few pharagraphs and the rest is blank. I just finished the part of today and surprise. I've never had any of the issues described by the OP in 15 years of using the software. And no, I do not have any affiliation with Wordfast, other that I think it's a great product if you actually take the time to read the instructions. In my opinion, it's a fantastic little company that has always helped me when I've had issues and has even implemented features quickly on request. 'm a professional translator working at the highest levels and my software of choice is Wordfast Classic (still!) in conjunction with the various versions of Wordfast Pro, all of which have their strengths and eccentricities. And this bug happens in texts with a word count of four digits. The big deal is when the WordFast just wants to do whatever it wants and you have to make the work, double because it saves the translated files as blank, because why not. Often, 2000 words is how I distribute the texts for a daily division of big projects, that way it's easier to bear.ītw I never even implyed that 2000 words was the big deal. Obviously it's a pain in the ass when you have a daily schedule and the piece of shit program just wants to screw you and waste your time.Īnd P.S, the texts I translate "aren't just" of 2000 words. LOL at 2000 words, as if that's a 'big' text. You make it sound as if it was the big thing super hard to understand, please. I know how to use the program, I know where to put what (memory - glossary - document), how to export as a translated file. LOL at 2000 words, as if that's a 'big' text.ĭon't worry, I know how to use it. The OP appears to be a not particularly experienced translator who hasn't bothered to read the manual properly and is now butthurt when he/she has to fix some issue that's likely their own fault. Some answers simply cannot be given without these factors in mind.
